The testator advanced the defendant many times in brewhouses, a trading opportunity in Ireland, lands in Ireland, and work in the army, but all that had been wasted. The testator then made his will primarily in favor of his grandchildren by his two other children and obtained a renunciation of his portion from the defendant. The defendant impeded the executors by getting possession of all the written instruments and so sued in the Mayor's court of London, but the witnesses to the value of the estate lived outside London.
